is it really worth it?

i have line cronics and when i put my reactor 10 bindings on them the brakes get almost stuck like 1/2 of the time. the binding specs. say that the brake is 78mm and the ski is 80mm underfoot. it is worth it to bother buying the fat brakes and spending the money or should i bend them or just leave them?
