Its pretty mellow and its a flat-bar, albeit skinny, so yeah, go for it. The consequences don't seem to bad. My first urban was a single pipe DFD, and my second was a mellow down rail like you would find on a front porch (with that little raised part in the middle, like a spine). I think you should be fine, just build the jump so the lip is equal with/past that pole, and you should sail right by it

Perfectly possible, just getting on might be.... tricky. I do think you could find a better one though. However, if you hit the one beside it, the straight one, with the drop at the end, I would be much more impressed.
