Is it possible to ski free at hood early summmer?

Recently I saw a video where these guys just hiked right up the mountain and started skiing. It may have been after hours but I was still wondering if it's possible during early summer to just hike up the mountain, get some skiing in and not get caught while doing this. Sorry that I don't know much about hood, I just really want to ski in the summer, so that would be awesome if somebody could help me out!

This year the public park is up at Palmer so just hike hood to Palmer and take the lift up. They dont check for passes on the Palmer lift I don't think! Or just hike to public!

Personally i wouldn't pay 64 to hike back down to Palmer right now....

if you can handle the hike, yes you can, they are not checking passes on Palmer. Be ready for some dirty looks though.

I did it for a full week. You jus hike up the side access road that people drive up and then you can hop on palmer. Never really had a problem, if someone does stop you just tell them you are hiking all the way up to the top of hood for one run down.

they don't check tickets on the second chair if you hike up there and don't get cought you ski free or hike to windells and poch the rope tow .

True! Did it with ^ a couple times, its doable, riding the lift is fun though for sure
