Is it possible to get a perfect 100 in slopestyle?

Really though. I doubt there's anything that would wow the judges enough to make them give 100s across the board.

Yes. If you're a chick and you spin a 720 AND manage to cross your skis at least a little.

I doubt it...the highest scores I've seen are 96ish. There's really no way judges can give a perfect 100 because what would they do if the next person who drops in lands a better run?

No such thing as perfect runs. There is always room for improvement

I want to agree but i feel the contest should allow for a 100 as that person could possibly do all the right things at that given time for that sport for that moment in time at that contest. When scored against the competitors of that contest they could hypothetically be perfect.

Yes. Josh Bibby is the only one that i know has done it at a major contest. He got a 100 in slope style in 2004 at the AFT (American Freeski Tour) in Big Bear. :)

Whoa! Hell yeah! Does any video of this exist?

They wouldn't give a 100 because if the next person is better they can't score them.

110 because they gave it their 110%

i hear what you guys are saying but the same is true in pipe and big air and there have been perfect scores in those

are there too many factors in slope? idk, i'm not sure what my opinion is here. a 100 slope run would have to be fucking wild but perfect

Has there been a perfect score in skiing halfpipe? I don't recall one...snowboard, but that doesn't count cause that was dumb. I don't really agree with perfect scores in big air either, but since it's only a single jump, I can see how it happened. With how crazy big air gets, I could see the potential for two people tying with perfect scores though.

I think Wallisch's X Games gold run was the closest to perfection there's been in slope.

Everything was super smooth and banged, but even that didn't score perfectly, I think judges always feel like grabs could be held a little longer.

Yep you're right as far as I know; I only can think of a snowboard pipe run that scored 100

If The king of afterbang can’t do it, it can’t be done.

Of course Andreas is super stoked on Wallisch's run. Love that guy.

I think to get a perfect score you have to do the best most progressive yet stylish tricks on every single feature. As discussed above, it's already a huge challenge to manage this on a couple jumps in big air so when you add rails and 3-4 jumps at the bottom it's mission impossible.

Plus we know the limits of jumps (triple corks in comp) but you can always improve on rails : just look at the tricks thrown at slvsh cup grandvalira (4 pretzel 4 etc), there is definitely room for improvement when you look at the runs in the rail section of xgames (even though they're already crazy)

Because you have to do be the best on every feature I think that nowadays it would be crazy to attempt such a run and impossible to land it
