Is it me or...

no my parents are from the city never skiied before, i started snowboarding because all my friends did it when i moved upstate. Then i switched to twin tip skiing cause it was steezyy
 
i started skiing because my brother didnt have anyone to go to the mtn with wen he first started snowboarding
 
of course no... my parents never like snow..and ski... we live near mountins 15 min and u can ski... but for its the most intrestang...
 
my aunt started it, but my dad used to and got back into it and got my mom into for me, so it is usually a family thing

but i have friends that do it cause i showed it to them, in all its glory
 
dad was a patroller, mum was gunna be a patroller till she found out she was pregnant wih me.

now i can ski faster backwards than they can fwds.

my dad started skiing when he was like 14 or seomthing, hes turning 50 in 2 months, and still hitting the slopes
 
i skied b/c my dad did and he skied b/c is girlfriend was a ski instructor and he dumped. Worse thing he could has ever done.
 
i started skiing with the ski club at my school very young... it was a hobby, side activity then...my parents didnt want me to ski they wanted me to play baseball and i did till sophomore yr high school then started smoking pot full time and skiing/skating lol... fuck team sports...
 
I dunno, I've just always skied. My dad doesnt really ski that much. and my mom doesnt ski. Just skiing in the main part of our towns culture, so it's weird when someone doesn't ski.
 
All of my siblings started skiing at young age due to my parents, but they all snowboard now and im the only one who stuck with skiing.
 
my parents met working for salomon in the 70s or something. so theyve been skiing all their lives and whatnot, so i started when i was 3 or 4
 
haha yeah my parents have both been skiing since they could walk. They tried to go pro in their mid 20s, then gave up and were ski bums for a decade. Then they both joined the PSIA Demo Team. So skiing is kinda part of my family's history.
 
yeah both my rents skiied and i skiied ( not alot each season) til i was 10.. then i started snowboarding cause i skateboarded a shitload, and spend most of my time in the park
 
ya i think so, me and all of my like 15 cuzzins started sking cuz our parents and their parents b4 them do....i started skiing on one of those leaches when i was like 3
 
why don't you play hide and go fuck yourself, honestly do you care if more new people come on NS? personally i think it's annoying when there's a new thread on here about something that's already been discussed 800 times
