From the movies I have seen this year and the contest doubles are getting smoother and way more style to them. a good sample

i think jacob should at least be nominated for male athlete of the year @powder awards, he straight KILLED it in attack of la nina

i agree 100% op. i brought this up in a pipe thread, seems like doubles all over the place are becoming much less hucked, and more floaty and effortless looking. that edit was so sick too, jacob had great style

Its the same as when everyone started doing 1080s and everyone flipped out and said "this is the end of style" and then the sport kept advancing and 1080s got more stylish, it happens every time as pros get more comfortable with their tricks

I think some of Jon's first doubles, kangaroo and hexo flips, we're super stylish but that's probably cause he was the original king of style. I do agree tho that everyone else's doubles for the most part used to be forced and over the past couple years the dubs have gotten way better in general.

its the pokes!, number one rule with style, its like tucking your knees in flar spins, just looks better no matter what. and, i know hate that sail song, way to overplayed

People have been doing sw dub 9s forever though? Don't get what was so special about that. I guess it was a bit different than the normal sw dub 9 but still..

And Gus' dub 14 was hucked to shit imo, all dubs over 12 have no style in my opinion, they always end up with the stupid pencil huck at the end. Not saying I don't like watching big spins etc. but this is not my definition of "style"

Goodness you gotta have so much respect for Jacob. So impressive.

Dubs are looking better. Especially Jossi

exactly what i was thinking, stomped, but in not very stylish, nonetheless sick to watch

and if you guys think sw dub 9's are sick you should see the switch dub 7 attempt in meatheads extras

nah its not too stylish, but if you look up "stomped dub cork 1440" in webster's, that video is the definition. textbook. any rotation that big is gonna be hucked unless its off a 250 foot table. I think the fact that he made it look so damn easy is gus's style alone. it doesn't have to have a poke, or tweak, or shifty, or two grabs to look damn good. that dub was flawless, and yeah I beat off to it on occasion.

Anyone notice lately that the awesomeness of your facial hair is directly proportional to your stompage ability

GUS KENWORTHY from One Hit Wonder Event on Vimeo.

After watching this it's impossible to say 14's can't be stylish

The first time I saw it, I shit myself. Also from the first angle, it almost looks like a triple haha. But agree, very stylish.
