Is it legal to send alcohol overseas?

I'm going to cancun in june and I want to get mad alcohol and send it back home so anyone know how I would go about doing this cause im only 18?

you cant cause your under the drinking age if you can find somebody over 21 the drinks just have to have the label on them and un opened

well i went to czech republic with my family and on my way home half my suitcase was liquor and im on 15

one bottle per passenger 18 or over. but u can break that rule, make sure u dont get caught. my parents got caught once and they said that me and my brother count as passengers so we had 4 bottles, and they had to take me to a room to question me. they still gave us the alcohol, but waisted like an hour or two in customs

if you send it back over separately you'll probably have to pay duty on it, at least you do in NZ, and the duty makes it cheaper to buy it here. if you take it in person it would be duty free but you're limited to so many bottles.

I brought 5 bottles back from Mexico on my senor trip. everyone i was with also made it through with several bottle. My friends even had a bottle of tequila that got opened and leaked everywhere and he still made it though even though it stunk. i think we got luck however because when we arrive in customs at charlotte it was chaotic.. they just rushed us through like cattle. i honesty could have had a small bomb in my bag and they wouldnt have noticed.
