Is it just me or is this shit getting ridiculous?

The quality of the site is directly related to the quality of its members. I've said it before and I've said it again. I spend at least two hours out of my day cruising NS, and I'm usually spending most of that time responding to PM's, moving or deleting threads, banning aliases and trolls, etc. More mods might be a wise choice (nominate whomever you want and we'll consider it), but seriously, even with 20 new mods, if the shit you guys post is still the same old shit, we're gonna have a shitty website. The quality of the site is directly related to the quality of its members.

If you wanna better site, you need to post from the ground up, not moderate from the top down.
 
people don't realize what you guys being more strict will do. come on guys, honestly ask yourself. what other way are you effected by a troll thread then it wasting 10 seconds of your time? do you know how much funny shit would be lost if the mods did rule with an iron fist? think of the if you laugh you lose thread. that whole thing would pretty much be deleted. the mods are here to step in when offensive material is spread/the websites rules are broken. sure, the trolls are annoying, but in the larger scheme of this website, they play a very mundane role. this is NSG NON SKI GABBER delete the troll threads from the other forums, but unless they break the current rules, let them stay. some turn out to be damn funny, and the ones that don't die in a day. for any of you who have siblings, you know that a heated reaction like most of you kids have is what keeps them going. just swallow your internet ego, and don't respond telling them how worthless they are, thats what keeps them going. JUST LET THEM DIE.
 
This, but last night was out of hand. Everything posted last night should have been gone in seconds, but of course green names were fast asleep.

Other GOOD troll threads are fine but everyone complains
 
i normally dont have a problem with NSG but this is just rediculous. and i admit to being a shitty member sometimes but ive put a lid on that and my karma is slowly going up lol
 
Yeah last night was pathetic, I'm sure that whoever that was has an IP ban now but those threads where up In almost every forum. Now I'm not saying that NS needs 20 more mods but NS needs 1 or 2 mods that stay up later then midnight.

Mainly because its become obvious to everyone that after around midnight East Coast time, there really isn't anyone on who can moderate the forums till 6-7am.

haha this is actually my 2nd account because everybody in one forum hated me for my stupid comments and troll posts. but now i got it out of my system and made a new profile to actually be a respectful member.
 
Alrite its settled by Rowen. Start from the ground up. Weed the obvious trolls out and post some good shit on good/bad threads. WE CAN WIN!
 
whoever visits 4chan should just leave ns, went there the other day for the first time and looked like i was in nsg in a way, all that stupid lingo they use there is gaining popularity on the ns forums

He obviously succeded in his raping of the mods, although they weren't online. so it was like raping someone who was passed out.. Still rape, but not as difficult as pinnin' 'em down and puttin' it in.

This Trolling shit is everywhere and it takes away from what internet forums should be - granted I don't mind if something puts up a thread thats obviously just meant in fun, but as long as its genuinely funny and not just designed to piss people off and get responses.
