Is it just me or do chick seriously have a problem doing grabs??

I saw a COC edit and there was this chick skiing who I thought was a guy till I was told it was a girl and I was amazed, she killed it. So steezy and didn't have the awkward air presence. Kalle something? The best compliment I can get on the hill is "you ski like a guy."

thats like parents rewarding thier kids the same way when one gets an A and the other gets a D, why would the one with a D try to improve if he is already getting the same reward as if he were getting an A?

It's true. Say what you want, that if women wanted to they could or some other bullshit along those lines, but the point is they aren't. Whether or not they can, I'm still reserving judgement.

hahah

kalle (leinonen) is definitely a guy. just sometimes Scandinavian guys look kinda girly.

Also...Park skiing is pretty much gymnastics, and girls are perfectly good at gymnastics, so why aren't there more good girl park skiers?

not to promote kristi leskinen or anything but i'm pretty sure she never does safety grabs. tweaked mutes and tail grabs. held. granted she never spun over a 5, except her flat spin thing.

I am not trying to hate. But to me, Laurent's video only reinforced the point being made by some in this thread. If a guy posted a video with those same tricks he would definitely not get sponsored or get that much props

i need to be pushed to do anything... if someone was to say "do this grab".. i most likely will try it, and work on it until I get it.. but if there is no real motivation or someone pushing me.. its much easier to do something "safe-ty"...and for some reason this thought of getting hurt always pops up in my mind... probably cause i dont reallly have insurance...

as for the giving girls advice on rails...i dont know what kind of issues you guys have had giving advice... but I wish I had some more advice, i would take it.. i had to figure rails out by myself... so whenever i am riding with a friend of a friend who is a skier ( i generally ride with a group of snowboarders)... i am always asking them.. "so how do you do this..."

and girls dont have balls :)... i mean its when i am not caring, when i am sking, do i actually try new shit (sounds strange but it works)

when i first moved out to the mountains.. i was on the chair lift with this skier kid.. we were talking and it turns out he was a teacher for one of the camps at the mountain... he asked me if i needed any tips.. i told him that i needed help spinning... he told me two tips.. and i stomped the trick i had been trying to land for the longest time...

i love that kid... thanks kid.... !

and i like advice

It's proven Guys are better at sport than guys. They're stronger and have a lower centre of gravity.

They cna't be expected to compete at the same level. In any guy sports girls are allowed to play if they're good enough but you don't see any. Saying that though there are some girls who kill it to the Female level.

Some rip they're awesome. I am a girl and personally I grab. I have had a bit or reluctance of doing crossed grabs becuase they are harder but it's easy to overcome. Even in normal skiing girls ski different to guys like in carving. There are a lot of awesome chicks out there ripping but the guys will always be on a different level. It's not a matter of Balls, the girls who rip probably have bigger balls metaforically than half the guys here it's the physical limitations of the centre of gravity and bodyshape.

A man's balls lower his center of gravity, a woman's breast's heighten her center of gravity. Also, balls are the cause of testosterone which makes men stronger and more competitive. So, it is a matter of balls, which also means, like you said, a matter of bodyshape.

Girls training for top level gymnastics are built like men. Thats why the younger the girl, the more potential for gymnastics. Prior to hitting puberty, the body structure is almost identical to that of a boy.
