Is it cool to ski the run under the lift?

Skiing under the lift where there are nice features is the only way to go if you are at the resort. It gets the people going!

I ski under the lift for the same reason the Gladiators fought in the Colosseum. Even if you get carted away covered in blood your still a fucking hero.

Does the pope shit in the woods?

Yes?

And skiing under the chairlift is the best. Especially as said earlier if you hit some good features and get the people on the lift all hyped. If you have a good wipe out, it's still good cuz everyone will cheer.

Probably the most sendy thing that you could possibly do at the resort. Rippin off the cliffs with people cheering. If you're good you feel like a king amongst his fucking peasants.

The other day I went full send on a natural hit under the lift and I heard someone on the lift go “holy shit!” and that felt real nice

all I did was a gigantic shifty straight air but I guess I looked cool so yea skiing under the lift is cool

ski the lift line at MRG, like playing for a crowd, its a great run and gets everyone who sees you just as excited to go skiing as you are going down, skiing for the crowds is a great thing

yes. Skiing under the lift gets people on the lift stoked and you get +gnar points

+ more gnar points if u make barking noises as ur straight lining under the chair

Its fires them up to cheer even more

Must be nice to have terrain NOT under the lift. In the midwest theres more lift towers than trees.

I double ejected on a small air under the lift first pow day of the year this year.. and got heckled.. win some and lose a few here and there..

Everything is amplified when you're under the lift. Stomp a cliff drop? Feels 10x radder. Eat shit? You'll remember that crash and feeling of shame for the rest of the day.

So fun skiing under the lift. Nothing feels better than ripping a bump run and airing between each bump or stomping cliffs under the lift

last time I did it I ducked ropes for pow and nearly got my pass clipped so uhhh yeah it’s cool ?

Saw this the other day under the lift -- but it was two girls that ended up taking their skis off half way down to butt slide and ski patrol had to go get them. "the snow looked soft" they yelled.. it was solid.

Like they said, ya win some ya lose some

At Alpental there is a cliff band under the top chair, and the cliffs are stupid. They aren’t that big but the fall line is weird and the pitch of the approach and landing doesn’t match, if you go too big you get into a tracked out mogul field, but that doesn’t stop people from sending it for the crowd.

Hahaha see mine worked out well minus the threat part

Heck to the yes! We have a black mogul run under our lift and all the Texans hooted and hollared at me today when I flew down it. Makes you feel Cooler than you actually are

I ski at Hyland Hills in Minnesota, People can throw there poles because the chairlift is about 1 minute long. Its a great time there, always something fun going down.

Not if you do every run under the lift. Then the audience knows you're just skiing for the ego and not the adventure.

Stomping a cliff underneath the chair and leaving your ski tracks in the pow to flex on the chairlift riders is my greatest accomplishment.

First tracks in pow on a closed trail (or not a trail just the lift line) is the ultimate alpha move. People always ask how it is ask your skidding over rocks.

Sometimes its fun to show off under lifts especially if the parks visible from the chairs.

For sure. If you can score extra points it’s even better.

Players call their mom from the no fall zone right under the lift.
