im starting to see a staright outline of my shin bone more and more as i get shin bang....

and is starting to become white on the outline...

if it helps i get shin bang from just 1 day of riding usually.

You wont die :p

It'll hurt though, your shins are weak. So toughen up as said.

I really don't like going to the gym to train my legs.

Rather do some alternative training, like climbing, downhill biking, skating and trips to the mountains around here, with or without skis :)

Just some tips

probably just work out your legs a little, all the hair on my leg is gone where it rubs aganst my boot, theres just a line of no hair haha

At the beginning of this season, I've got REALLY bad shinbang but since then i've loosened up my boots and it helped so much.

I always walk with my toes on the very tip of the stairs when i walk up to streach out my calfs and rollthe abc's with my feet before i go skiing so it streches it out because alot of shin bang is cramped muscle. and if i recall shinbang is also a build up of fluid in your shins fromthe bruising and pressure so wrap them tightly with ace bandages during the night and ice them too

and also, its law not to whine of shin bang if your a skier cause your most always going to get it, and all of your friends have it so there no reason to bitch about it stop being a pussy n rub some dirt on it

ibuprofin and icy hot every time b4 skiing. u wont notice ur shin bang at all until later that night when ur like fuck my shins hurt now. ive never heard of shin bang turning into a majpr injury. just an annoyance
