No, it's overpriced for such a small hill. I have a season pass and have only gotten checked twice in the past three years. In other words, you could get by without a ticket. But they do have cops to take care of you if you get caught.
I get a free ticket from random people about half the time i go there, just stand around you can usually find a cheap one from a school night ski trip, or someone will just give it to you.
