Is Height or Weight More Important??

I'm really just curious here.
When choosing a ski size is height or weight more important??
So I'm 5'10 maybe 5'11. However i weigh only about 125 pounds. (i'm working on it, okay)
For a stiffer ski like the AR7 would a 171 be fine? Or since i'm a little taller should i get 181? But will i be too light to effectively carve then???

jesus christ you are skinny.

im 5'10 180 and i ski 181s. it all depends on what you like

both height and weight is important, but i would say, out of the two, weight is more important. also your leg strength is very important, you need to be able to control the bigger sticks.

yo im suppa skinny too. im 6 ft and like 140. i generally go down just cause there easier but havnt tried a bigger size really so i cant really help you.

Get a softer ski if you way less.

I dont see the point in having short stiff skis when you can have a nice long ski.

Well said, I'm 5'10 and about 130lbs and I'll probably end up getting k2 domains in a 179 (measure up to 182-3) due to their softness. I believe that I should be able to handle them.

Let me know what you think.

^^

I do want a symmetrical ski though since I'm currently on some invaders. Thanks though.

Thanks and I'm actually just under 130 but whatever.
