i was wondering cause i wanna order some skis but last time i ordered from them i waited 4 weeks without receiving answers to my e-mails and finaly canceled my order. And one more thing what is your opinion of the 181 msp's.

im sure they shipped them...to china, but dont worry, they prolly shipped you a beanie or pair of gloves for your $300. srsly tho, dont understand why people keep using GBs, they arent even close to the cheapest, and they are deffinetly the most unreliable.

Semi. I paid for gloves from there. Six weeks pass. I never got gloves. I tell my bank to get me money back. I get money back. Next week I get gloves. Now I have free gloves... 2 months late.

To be honest, I've ordered all kinds of shit from them...Skis, clothing, goggles, poles etc. and I have always gotten my gear within 3-4 days, and I live on the East coast. I guess I've just gotten lucky?

The thing is im not from the us.my aunt lives in denver and they never delivered the helmet i ordered so we got our money back.so i want the 4frnt msp 181 but i couldnt find them elsewhere.any ideas?thanks

iffy... their site is sometimes not even up to date, which means those msps you want may or may not be sold out... about 75% of the time i have been completly pleased with an entire purchase... but the other times it has been a pain in the ass trying to get the right things in a timely manner

All of my dealings with Getboards have been just fine. That being said, I've only gotten smaller, softgoods from them, and might hesitate it getting skis or other expensive items.

This question, worded the exact same way, must have been asked a dozen times. Does anybody search?

Anyways, the answer to your question is No, getboards.com is not legit.

I've heard plenty of bad things about them but I have had no problems. I even ordered a t-shirt that was back ordered or something and it got there a month before they said it would. I've ordered skis, along with 2 of my friends with absolutely no problems.

its like gambling. one time i ordered a jacket and it took around a month to come, but then later mi friend ordered propaganda and getboards sent him skis

I know why you are thinking that cuz the site looks a bit undeveloped but it's all good. I bought a few things from there and nothing wrong with it.

I bought skis from them 3 years ago, took like 2 weeks more than they said to recieve them. I've heard terrible things about them, and generally I've heard they are inconsistant and not worth buying from. Its basically a gamble when you buy from them. I would suggest using more reliable online retailers, backcountry.com, tramdock, etc.

they have a decent selection, theyre prices are a little high and ive never had a problem with shipping. i got some binders fast.

If you've got plenty of time to wait and dont mind getting your skis in like 3 months, go ahead,, but otherwise no, not very legit.

I ordered a pair of line prophets last winter about two months before a cat skiing trip, it was a really great deal, so I figured yeah I'll buy them, and I have 2 months to get them, plenty of time. But then like a month later I still dont have my skis, so I send them an email and they reply that the skis I had ordered were out of stock and they offered me the same skis but a left over pair of their 06's, so yeah I took those and they told me they had shipped them and everything and that I would get them within 2 weeks guaranteed. But anyways 3 weeks later still no skis, so I email them back and they havent even shipped the skis yet!! So I fucked that and cancelled my order, ending up having to use my old beat up pair of public enemies for the trip.

SERIOUSLY!!!!! PLEASE DELTE THIS THREAD!! if you searchbar getboards there is like 35 threads on this you can read. The most recent one having the same title as yours.

I've never had any issues with them. However, they are located next to my home mountain so I pick my stuff up from their store.

i almost bought skis form there one year.. but i was getting super ripped off and with all these reviews

id say they arn't exactly the best site to buy your gear from..

Go with Monkeyrides.com..... They're having a super good sale and they're really nice people located in Enumclaw WA near Crystal Mountain. You'll have to call in to order but you know at least you'll be talking to someone and they're really quick about sending stuff out too.

wow, ^ they really have good deals... about getboards, i've had nothing but bad experiences with them so i simply stopped ordering from them and took my business elsewhere.

anyone know if getboards is gonna have that amazing sale they had last may? where skis are like $200 and bindings are $100. or something like that
