Is freedom the American dream?

Ok, recently we had to write a 7 page essay in school about freedom being the american dream and our opinions on it. this includes all kinds of freedom. well i just stumbled upon some wigger kid from my class' response, so here it is. what do you all think?

The topic was "Do you think freedom is the American Dream?"



Personally,

I don't think it is. If freedom is our dream, then we suck at living

our dreams. America isn't free at all. True freedom would allow us to

do whatever we want. Right now, were just controlled by laws and a

redneck from Texas.

Freedom

can't be had with the president we have now. He couldn't even go to war

in Vietnam. Bush jumped the draft and did a few lines. WTF? He's the

true dictator. I think Saddam has some work to do just to catch up to

Dubya. I mean, who else blew up four planes, three buildings, and

blamed it on a minority?

The

CIA and Bush are the true terrorist. Neither want us to be free because

that would make us think differently. Someone needs to stand up again

these people because these rednecks are getting quite outrageous lately.

I

see a terroist attack coming in the next year and a half. It will

probally let Bush stay in power because of the Patriot Act. So guess

what? The almighty USA will go off and blow up a few more third-world

countires. That's every hillbilly's dream to go blow up stuff and kill

people poorer than himself.

If

you call the cops on me for this paper, I will probally get the death

sentance. I'll laugh though. He will kill me because I didn't heil the

almighty BUSH. I swear hes a knock off Hitler. The only difference is

Hitler was a bit smart and actually liked his own country.

is why I don't like rednecks. They talk funny, small funny, and in

GWB's case, they need a helmet. Oh, and dont say this is off topic

because it's all about freedom. I'm just telling you about our oh great

dictator who wants to take it away from us.

Well the conservative party wants to turn Cananda into the US. I find this disgusting. We dont accept foreing professionals such as doctors and engineers. Now Harper wants to introduce terror laws??

What the fuck is wrong with right wing parties. Its like they always think of themselfs. All their policies help the rich get richer and forget the poor that really needs help.

O to answer ur initial ? yes freedom is in a sense th e american dream...it gives each person the right topursue individual goals whether it be doctor lawyer or even if u choose construction worker mail man what ever makes u happy...

In your case it gives u the right to move to a much safer and care free world one where u truly are free not like this oppressive over bearing US government...I suggest North Korea i hear its lovely this time of year

Which is what causes stupid people to vote against their interests in favour of those richer than them. Because "someday I'll be rich too!" No you won't. Clueless would be the best word to describe you. Another would be retarded, but that would offend our kind hearted special people.

1. Our country is the greatest in the world. Our freedoms, legal system and oppurtunities are amazing. Quit fucking whining and go move to some Islamic theocracy, you will find all the freedom you want there.

2. Do you honestly think your daily life would be ANY fucking different if another person was president? How? Please explain how just ONE of Bush's policies has affected your daily life? Just one?

1st:It has been declared by the Auditor General. Its her job to make sure the country is working finacialy and politicaly correct. She sends in reccomendations to the party in power. Stats Can is also showing that immigrents with qualifications are working in the minimum salary jobs. So far the conservative has yet to listen. Typical right wing party.

2nd:we dont get shit ass TV in Canada

3rd:maybe its time to stop listening and start understanding. What I mean by that is stop listening to others and take their opinion as your own and start making your own without the influence of others.

i do agree with the claim of another "attack" i mean fear is a powerfull weopon, and the main differance between using fear as a means of control. is how it is employed. take the ussr under stalins control.. if you did not go his way your dead. the govement in control is puttin fear into you so you are controled. but this puts the goverment in the bad seat.

now what mister bush and his cronies have done is mad this bad seat and chose who sits in it... as i think of it.. bush wants you to be scared as all hell about towl heads and shit and that the usa goverment is the only thing that will save your life. so it is still fear but the made the usa look to some as the savior and the rigchious one. its such a crock of shit. i mean i dont blame the muslams for beeing pissed off , shit it looks like a nother crusade for the holy land.

we've had problems with money for years and not just with bush. sure we are in a war...they cost money. our country has many new jobs, it's their problem if they aren't getting paid more. whoever said that i don't have my own opinion? so what if i agree on alot of things with right wing conservatives.

There are so many legitimate, intelligent reasons to hate the Bush administration, I don't understand why people always pick the stupidest reasons possible to hate on him.
