i saw skimatic and it shut me up.perfect setups NO JUMPS, no snow anywhere, sick style,no equipement like gay helmets and pads... isaw show and proove , and long story short and its not even close to is level of skills...

omg! i thought so too!!

i am pretty sure he is the best urban jibber in the world!

especially since he's soooo extreme without the helmet and pads

hahahah...loser.

yeh not wearing a helmet doesnt really add or subtract from "urban jibbing" skill,

havent seen it yet but sounds good

A while ago I said to someone, "You know what'd be cool, if shifty spins onto rails got popular." Then they told me Frank Raymond already does that.

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't all skiers wear no pads while doing rails? I mean it'd be quite silly seeing someone slaying a rail wearing football equipement or moto cross pads.

no helmet is kinda stupid, on anything in skiing. Vist your local brian injury ward, and you will understand.

And yea he is sick at urban, nothing that wont be done this year.

I just remember the two ill shots i've seen of him on here, the 270 on to the downrail, sw out and then the login page, with the multiple side kanked dfd, so gnar.

yeah no jokin...all these people who think they are more core, or better cause they don't have to ski with a helmet...For almost everyone on this site....YOUR NOT GOOD ENOUGH, FOR THE POTENTIAL LONG TERM DAMAGE IT COULD CAUSE (I wear a helmet also)

I don a helmet sometimes, but its my opinions that that in mags and videos helmets look gay. Do pro skaters wear helmets or pads, no, and pavement hurts alot more than snow. If you want to wear a helmet and ski thats great, but why stop there? You could don some wrist gaurds under you gloves. Elbow and knee pads seem nice and safe. Oh, and the hot buns things that the ski patrollers wear would fell just great when your cute little bottom touches the cold lift. Why even ski the park, that could lead to some pain. SInce you like beign safe maybe you stay on the bunny hill. In addition, i have a helmet and i only wear it when im in places that its inforced. And im not a pro, so its ok if im a pussy. Maybe you can come back at this and say " oh, i hit my head on this rail blah blah blah and because of my helmet im alive" Well, if you were good and didnt fall, there would not be a problem. As i stated before, I do wear a helmet, dont brand me as a complete idiot, i just think that at the pro level i find the helmet non appealing

ur a retard for saying whoever wears a helmet should wear should wer wrist gars and asspads or watever. i duno if u realize ur head is the most important part of ur body and theres a huge difference between breaking ur skull and breaking ur wrist. and ur retarded ass point of not skiing the park if ur scared of getting hurt. fuck that, the point of wearing a helmet is to protect you just in case u have a gnarly fall, not because ur constantly scared of hurting urself.

falling isnt always your fault, unforseen circumstances such as retards on the landing or out of control people who never skied before plowing into you do happen

id rather look alive than look like a dead pro thankyou very much, and your comment that peope who fell on rails and hit there head must be bad skiers, because if they were good it wouldnt have happen.how old are you?7??your a complete moron i actually laughed when i read that

theres no shame in falling , and a hell of a lot of pros where helmets too,and some of them look damn cool doing it,as do a lot of helmets.why take unneccesary risks?and your point about wrist guards etc. is valid but its about compramise,im not arsed about breaking wrists,i am about damaging my brain, hence i wear a helmet,al the time and i dont think i look like a worse skier for that at all

hey, go play with your dwarves!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frank kills it I woulddnt say he is the best but he's in there with the best of them. Good thing he almost bnever use a jump for his rails stunts, I get mad when people build big jumps... ask the skiers I filmed with this winter... lol

Anyway Raymond and J-F are 2 really great urban skiers

They fall on the rail because they're trying new shit. If anything you should be on the bunny hill. You obviously have never taken a hit because the most you do is shadow others and try to look your best while cruising down the groomers and hitting knarly 15fters. Your comment was one of the most ignorant and stupid things I have heard on this site ever. I hope that when you are finally pushed to try a new trick, you eat shit and bust your head open. You are a dumb shit and you deserve to get hurt. A harsh reality check is heading your way, and I'm looking forward to that.

Hey fuck you for saying anything about helmets, Josh malay died because he wasnt wearing a helmet, and he was just about to get his first pro model board, So yea, I guess it is gay to wear a helmet

Obviously you didn’t read what I wrote, and more importantly, I contradicted myself. So, I’ll sum up what I intended to say in bullet point format:

- I WEAR A HELMET

- THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH WEARING A HELMET

- THE WHOLE THING ABOUT PADS WAS EXAGGERATION

- IT IS JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION THAT IN FILMS HELMETS LOOK UNAPPEALING

Here is a photographic example

the only thing that has been changed is what rests above the shoulders,

now, tell me what looks better

im not being serious

Yeah way to diverge from your original points and try to cover up with what you said with a very weak attempt at being funny. Boy you just crashed harder than the Hindenburg.

OMG FRANK RAYMOND IS SOOO GOOD LIKE IT JUST BLOWS ME AWAY!

I'm pretty sure he's the best skier in the whole world!!!!!

The WHOLE WORLD!

OH EM GEE

i'm about to go get a catscan, with some fluid running through an IV into my blood, so they can see if it's flowing everywhere it needs to be in my brain. i wasn't wearing a helmet when my head smacked the pavement.

that said, it's not a bad idea to wear a helmet.

skaters arent boosting 30+ feet out of the pipe and spinning 10s on 70'+ tables without protection bro. skiers go way bigger.

you are totally wrong. skiers dont necessarily go bigger. in case you haven't noticed, spinning a 10 on a 70'+ table is exponentially easier on skis, as opposed to a skateboard. your lack of intelligence of both sports is showing here. compare falling on skis, to falling on a skateboard. skis: you have soft snow, and even if there is a metal rail, there is still snow surrounding the rail.

skating: in the best of circumstances, you fall on wood (pipe) the worst being on concrete. now you can make a connection between handrails in skiing, and handrails in skating. the falls are still worse on the side of skating. no skis to help you slide down the stairs if you come off the rail, now snow lying around to possibly pad your fall. and furthermore, look at the tricks being done onto handrails in skating. do yourself a favor and message Eastar5 about his skating movie, and compare it to any ski video out. consider your mind blown.

and to conclude by referring to your 30+ feet out of the pipe; skiers don't consistently air 30+ feet out, and i dont even know if it has been done in competition, only on a hip, if you consider that a pipe. if you don't know facts, its best to not call something out. your ego is certainly writing checks that you just can't cash
