dude.... this kid throws so many unnatural tricks, I am actually confused ast to which way is his natural.... he does rail gaps to left foot forward with up the rail lefty 270 off.... in Royalty, and rodeo 720s to the left in propaganda, but he also does just as technical tricks right handed.... man that kid is fucking sick.

 
hey dave, i hate to break it to you.....but being left handed has nothing to do with the direction you throw tricks.....I write with my left hand but I spin counter-clockwise and do the majority of my flippy-spinny tricks the same way (cept for lincoln 180's, flares, and underflips). I also throw a baseball, swing a bat/golf club, and everything else with my right hand.......man, i'm a freak.

but then again - I spin right handed, but slide rails left foot forwards.....

 
ummm I do. IF he can throw all of that stuff unnatural that just makes him that much better.

Look in the line add where he's doing a unnatural rail to 270.

Everyones different. Some people do some things one way, some do them another. If you really want to get technical, your natural spinning direction and all that is based on genetics and shit. But who the hell cares, its all skiing. And any way you look at it, Pollard is a damn good skier with mad style.

and it was a unnatural rail slide to uphill unnatural 270 mute grab off...to be exact. super technical trick and it looked rail nice too.

Eric Pollar can do anything on both side, I dont think it is really unnatural for him...

he is prolly able to do all the 'unnatural' tricks without having to work specicatelly on them... it is just that he can duplicate the body motion with both of his right and left muscle.

Hmmm... I am not all that interested in how Eric's dominate hand effects his skiing, but rather how it effects his art. Before I read this thread, I woke up this morning wondering how many of the great artists were lefties. Now, though in my opinion Eric has created some amazing ski graphics, I would not put him in the same league as say Picasso or Rothko. However, I wonder how many of the "canonized" artists were actually lefties? In the grand scheme of things, I guess it doesn't matter that much, but it is still an interesting though.
 
maybe we should leave the old threads where they were. all stupid posts and comments from immature 6th graders are fucking annoying.
