I am from burlington and I can say the nightlife is unreal

If you like college dive bars, Rasputins or Sputies as it’s called. If you like club-like, Red Square. If you like just bar atmosphere Akes Place, What Ales You, Three Needs, and Church Street Tavern are your options.

College town with tons of bars, some more on the pub feel some more club/dj, and some in between. many that are your classic shitshow college bars with underage kids doing blow and puking in the bathroom. sometimes trivia, reggae night, grateful dead covers, live music, etc. you can occasionally catch a big act at higher ground or the memorial auditorium. not to mention amazing VT beers and a good culinary scene.

Rasputin's if you tryna black out on redbull vodka's and headbang in a dark basement w some guidos, frat guys and underage chicks. homies would dj the back bar on a saturday night when I went to school there lol good times. you will occasionally catch a jersey shore creeper vibe and it's kind of a running joke, but actually a fun spot if you're rolling with a deep crew that's tryna vibe the dance floor.

ake's place for pool and darts

esox for your classic dive bar with good draft beers

mr mikes for late night pizza

red square, nectar's, metronome, or half lounge, for a more sophisticated boujee/hipster young professional vibe, good music and pricier cocktails.

plenty of other good dive bars, restaurants, and tasting rooms to smash a few pints or play some pub sports at mostly all within walking distance on college street. burly is about an hour from most ski hills so you'd definitely want to crash downtown.
