ag is down and out. the former policy they had was of an 'opt-out' model.. thats why some songs (mostly shit like limp bizkit and what not) were blocked, becuase the artist/record company requested that they be blocked. now its of an 'opt-in' variety, where you have to go tell them its okay to distrubute their music, and i sincerely doubt that a lot of people will do that.. if it was itd be pretty cool but most of the stuff you'd see would be underground music (fine by me of course) but it still would be pretty hard to find new music.

i dont really even know of anything else to use, guess i just gotta rely on people at my school putting stuff up on the network, pretty hard considering my music preference. it also sucks that AG took down their ftp search which was pretty helpful, anyone else know of any site that indexes ftps like that?

I know of some good programs. Hotline and mIRC. Both are confusing as fuck but you will get used to them.
