Is anyone stuck in a place where they can't ski.

I am! I'm here at college and most of the snow melted with rain last week. I don't live near an arena or any stockpiles of snow.

There is a strike on now so most people went home.

So, I'm here, no other skiiers/boarders, no snow, being tormented to death from all the pics on NS.

Tell me your tales of woe.

I'm from the south coast of the U.K. we didn't even have snow to melt!!

I am going to France on thursday though, which is going to rule.

I am in Victoria...it is a few hours from Mt. Washington but I do not have any money to get up there. I have a pass for Whitewater (13 hours away:hometown) but I haven't been there since christmas.

i thought we were done in upstate NY. but we got dumped on last night. we got a foot but there is no real base. still tis good for backyard sesh's

Chicago=No Mountains=No Skiing ive gotta fly if i want to ski, or drive up to some ice crusted hill with crappy jumps in wisconsin

NC...i had skiing about 2 1.2 hours away...then i blew my knee out after 30 minutes of skiing there for the 2nd time

yall aint got shit.

atlanta is 3 hrs from decent skiing(other than my backyard) in NC. its ok, I hate living here and i have to endure it for 4-5 more years.

yup, im here in central fucking new york, all the places around me closed down, and it just started snowing like crazy. fuck this

... I hear you brother... I won't even bother bitching about this, but all I can say is, urban, do as much as you can before you can't do it anymore... Me and some friends took snow that drifted in my ditch and trucked it to a rail to hit it, fun time...

where the fuck are you living? i live near albany and we havent got shit, for like 1 week when we had liek 2 inches, then it melted like 1 hour later

Southern Ontario... no snow at all. The only snow we saw was in november and a few little flurries...

the only hill left is the big eden which is like 2 feet high with a terrain park covered in gapers.

Alabama, skier hell. it flurried twice this winter, the first time in like 7 years or some thing and i live in the very northmost part.
