As for brainwashing, NO, I never have been nor will be. My thoughts are exactly that, my thoughts. I drink alchohol, occasionally. I know that it is illegal, but it doesn't have the same effect on people who use drugs, trust me I've lost plenty of friends to drugs but not one to alchohol. And no I'm not religious. I don't believe in any form of a deity. My morals rest on what is good for my and in my mind the proper path for a succesful society. Some may see my ideas full of fallacy, but I do not, obviously, I see them as right. People don't change neither do their thoughts and ideas.

smoking weed will not fuck up your chances to live a very successful life. rtake my dad fro example; he has been smoking weed consistently since he was 12 years old (now he's 48). he own the 10th highest employing business in our county, brings in $110,000+ a year for my famils, AND he owned the most popular ice cream company in the state up untill 5 years ago. my dad is one of the most successful men in my county and he probably smokes as much weed as all these 'druggie trash'. do you really think weed has deterred him from ANY success? fuck no! now let's say he was drinking alcohol 3 times a week since he was 12. do you think he would have passed college, developed a great business, etc.? i highly doubt it. he would have flunked out of college, got a minimum wage job pumping gas for a living, and missing out on a great opportunity

the other thing to keep in mind is that drugs affect people differently. I have seen friends lives torn apart by heroin, cocaine, alcohol and even weed (just to name a few). The most important thing to keep in mind is the addiction factor. While weed is not physically addictive like the others I mentioned, it can be psychologically addictive.

As far as weed and alcohol go, everything in moderation (although I have no tolerance for coke and heroin). So long as you are able to keep your head on straight, life in order, and be a productive member of society, who really cares what you do behind closed doors.

Personally, I drink only occasionally (and it is legal for me) and have smoked weed probably twice in the past 3 years. I used to party like nobody's business, but to me I didn't feel as if I was in control of my life so I stopped and regained control. However, I do not preach what I think to others, and I do not hold what other people do against them.

We all live different lives, and make different choices, and that does not mean one is right and the other wrong, it just means that we are different. If you are that opposed to everything, don't associate yourself with it.

Alcohol is pretty bad for your body/mind. I bet if you compared them Alcohol has worse long term effects on your body compared to weed. I don't know though thats a guess. People get fucked over with drugs because they make bad decisions. People get fucked over with Alchol because they make decisions and need a new liver or are alcoholics.

alcohol is waaaaaaaaaaaaay worse for you. it's not natural, you're body fights it when it's in your system. that's why you get sick, and sometimes get alcohol poisoning. weed is natural, your system accepts it. and how many times have you heard of somebody od'ing on weed? never. how many times have you heard of somebody dieing of alcohol poisoning? it happens a good bit. weed hurts your lungs. so what, you breathe a little harder with less activity. alcohol destroys your liver. who give a shit, i like losing controll of my bladder and having a bag attached to my side which i need to empty every couple hours......get my point? weed IS NOT bad

900 joints is not really a measurable thing, it could be 1 quad spliff and 89 slims, but to od on bud, its my understanding ud have to smoke somewhere around ur body weight in under 30 minutes, which is fuckin impossible even if u had that much bud

accually you can overdose on weed. they only way you can overdose is if you smoke your body weight in pot though, which will not happen. to prove my point you can overdose and die from anything though, i recalling hearing about a little boy who was murdered by his parents from drowning in water in his body because his parents forced water down him untill he (overdosed?) died

There is so many exceptions that the government is yet to legalize weed.

well, the thing about drowning while on E may have been a fluke if the person in fact drown. Typically the problem people have on E is the fact that it raises the body temperature, and they get terribly dehydrated, and sometimes die from this. Some people try to counter act this by consciously drinking water, but again, because of improper judgement, they drink to much water and can die from drinking an excessive amount of water (kinda the opposite of dehydration).

 
yeah, weed isn't bad at all. There are lots of adults who do it and they are fine. My sister for example is going to UCLA law school, one of the top law schools in the country, and she smokes. My brother is out of college and has a very well paying job doing exactly what he wants to do and he smokes. My brothers old girlfriends went to Harvard and wrote for 'Lets Go' magazine and she smokes too. It can't fuck you up.

Yea, and heroin is fucking stupid. My sisters boyfriend tried it once and told me that it was soo stupid and a horrible high. Because heroin is a drug meant for people in a lot of pain...and if you have no pain...then it doesn't even make you feel good. Also when you come off of your high on heroin you get really really really really sick...and the only way to make it stop is to take more heroin(hence why people get addicted) but he said it was so pointless..cuz he just had a horrible high and got the sickest he's ever been his whole life.

another problem with herion is that it basically utilizes a chemical in your brain. The problem is that the gland that secretes the chemical, will slowly stop producing it (because your body is getting it from herion). It is possible to die from getting off of herion, and that chemical is what makes herion so difficult to quit. Great Britain has a nationally policy of providing herion adicts with small amounts of herion to recovering adicts for this reason. Another problem is that treatment in the US is basically methadone treatments, which will continue to provide the chemical in your brain that the herion took away, basically they are taking away the negative affects of herion, and replacing the addiction, nistead of actually treating it.

Furthermore, herion has a tendency to keep people regular (make em take a dump), and a lot of people trying to quit cannot go to the bathroom, and when they do they can't stop (this is all part of the withdrawl from herion). So between the withdrawl affects, humiliation, and physical affects of getting off of herion, people can't typically quit. The worst thing about it is when people want to quit, know how horrible it is for them, but just cannot quit.

I have lost (not dead but is in my eyes) one good friend to herion, and I refuse to let it happen again. I just wish people took the time to realize what they were doing to themselves before they did it.

that statistic about 1 joint equalling 20 cigarettes is based solely on tar levels. When you look into the other chemicals (nicotine and other 'spiking' chemicals) and affects of smoking cigarettes, the negative effects, and the addictive tendencies (tobacco is physically and mentally adictive, and weed is only mentally adictive), tobacco is worse than weed.
