Umm... please tell me how MIT let you bypass regular Grad school admission process? This question is based on the assumption that you're 17 and not finishing college at the moment. I applied there for undergrad and didn't get in, and I had most everything the mean of students who were accepted had. I personally am not really a smoker, I've done it less than 10 times in my life, it's alright, but I personally couldn't have it as a large part of my lifestyle. To the person who said it's part of skiing culture, I think that's a little brash to say. But whatever, you have the right to do what you want with your body as long as it doesn't bring harm to others. This includes anything, smoking and drinking safely. A drunk driver who gets in an accident with someone is as worthless as a 30 year old stoner with no job. Pleasure is fine as long as you're not a burden to anyone else. It does help you when your argument though when you don't tell people they are cocksuckers and faggots. You might be offended, but your point was gonna be so much stronger without that.

Same here. I got a 3.7. I took all AP classes, and I smoke everyday. I also plan being an aeronautical engineer, I am taking numerous, math, physics and engineering classes next year. But the difference between me and you Prince, is im not an uptight asshole who's sole focus in life is money. My resoning for being an Aero engineer is my love for aeronatics. I've loved anything that flies since the day I was born, in fact I have my pilots liscence. I am real TRASH aren't I?

All i have to say to the guy that started this thread...do you want a cookie for being that smart. Some of the most booksmart people are the dumbest people i know in the real world. And most of the 'trash' people i know, are very smart people. So it is not fair to call them trash. I am clean and sober, and that is my choice. that may be true, but think about aerospace engineering; assuming you actually are going to work at lockheed-martin, they make rocket engines for the US government...how many people do you think the bombs powered by your engines will kill? don't blame drugs. think about how many natural idiots there are on this site (no names). the drugs do nothing but give them something to talk about.

there's also people that actually KNOW what they're talking about though, and can educate people on the matters, and to hopefully teach some people that drugs aren't cool, they're just something to do.

alright. this is the problem in today's society. people like you. see we have a voting process and everyone is first told that shit is wrong. they start their life off with that engraved in their head. so new thingsa to them become wrong before they even try it themselves. so you feel that drugs are wrong because you have no tried them. you have seen others try them and maybe they weren't as great with them. however, you being as smart as you are, should be able to handle his drugs, if you're not as weak minded as you say. so why not jsut take a hit bud. just let it go inside your lungs and exhale, then feel the funny feeling in your ear canals and start laughing at stupid shit. it's great. god i wish i could get stoned for my first time again, it completely opened my eyes to expirimentation. now i get ass fucked for money and shoot heroin everyday. but honestly my friend, by calling me trash you jsut make me hate people like you and make me wanna smoke more pot to make me forget that the world is still stuck in the 20th century.

one that note, i got to thinking when i was high. why is it that the United States government sends kids to marijuana/drug classes when caught for drinking/pot/paraphinalia tickets. they jsut educate the kids who are already doing drugs that it is alright to expiriment with the drugs and that their laws are bull shit. Our government doesn't think ahead for shit. soon they will have sent all of it's youth to a drug class to realize that marijuana is not a drug and that the other drugs they speak of are. and then our youth will become the majority of the population and we will vote against it. if they would like to continue making money off of drugs i would suggest not sending children who USE drugs to drug classes. it would seem more logical to send the close minded people who won't try drugs at all, so they can brain wash them, jsut like religion does.

now you're saying, WOW! you brought up religion. But, i feel that i need to talk about this somewhere and i don't want to create a new thread and have this be a huge issue. so here are my views on religion in our society.

Religion is both a positive and negative influence on our system. a positive influence would be that it teaches young children right from wrong, and emphasizes that people be decent mannered and what not. however i feel it creates a bias voting system. a perfect example of this would be this close minded kid we have here. he has grown up believing drugs are bad. now he has expressed hate for drug users. we have done nothing to this individual yet he still feels hate for us. it's horrible. i feel religions should not accept members under the age of 18 years old simply for that fact that someone should fall into a religion, not be grown up to a religion. it really fucks up your point of view towards new things.
