northern ontario kinda scares me... than one of two of the bars burnt down leaving us with only one bar... if something were to happen to that bar it would be a 1.5 hour drive to the next town to go to another bar...

Thunder Bay is where it's at! It's funny because my friend said he saw and avalanch sign at baldy. For anyone who hasn't been there, You could walk up it faster than the lift and it averages about 2 runs open.

im from sudbury!!! the only good place around sudbury is North Bay unless u wanna go on a hill me and my friends made with jumps and all.....thats when we had snow..

we made 25ft gaps and had some pretty big rails

 
im in thunder bay too, haha signs of an avalanch at baldy, the only slides we ever get is snow sliding off slanted roofs in the spring time

how have i not discovered this before?!born in timmins moved to tbay. i ski with snowboarders and they are bums @ loch. never been to baldy but i will once its open and decent.
 
its aiight, the hill is stupid small but our manager likes the idea of parks and doesnt focus on racing, but we dont have snow makers so this year the park is shit and i dont suggest anyone come here this year. next year our manager plans to have snow makers and we have a snow cat so if things go to plan next year should be sick.
 
i take back what i said, dryden sucks. dont come here, im now fighting with managment to get a decent park. im done with that hill. if your out this way just go to kenora and ski evergreen.
 
ya, they were totally on board at first but they just kinda got lazy and they wont spend any extra time there to get stuff done. I put to much of my own money into it and it just wasnt worth it and i didnt really get anything out of it.
