Seriously, im watching Universal sports and the womens downhill. Picaboo street and whatever this other jokers name is cant shut up about her.

even during the other girls runs they wont shut up about how incredible she is. and its not comparing someone elses run to Lindseys its just constant talk of how incredible she is.

yes, i get it, shes freaking amazing, shes getting a divorce, and yes shes freaking amazing.

back to ski racing please.
 
She did win by two seconds on thursday at lake louise... thats extremely impressive

and i realize how incredible 2 seconds is. or shit even the 1.6 she has now.

I was talking to her today, she's an incredibly sweet girl. Incredibly caring, even though she's dominating Downhill right now, she's still caring about her team mates.

For example, her teammate took a nasty crash today, head wound and everything. Her scream scared me, and that's all she was worried about until the race was over
 
lol i knew the thread would take off in this direction.

but that really wasnt my intent. I have total respect for Vonn in her amazing skiing ability.

my point was more about the TV announcers worshiping the ground she walks (skis) on and completely negating the rest of the race.
 
To OP, It's the hype, she's built like a machine, and the fact that she won Friday's race by 1.96 seconds is pretty crazy. I happen to work for CBC, I'm in Lake Louise right now due to the fact that there is a ski race here. She is the hype this year. I work at the leader board, so every time you see the shot of her smiling, that's were I am. Maybe she's too hyped, I was kinda hoping for the cute little French girl to win yesterday, but, she couldn't hold 1st after Lindsay came down. We'll see how Lindsay does in Beaver Creek, seasons just starting.

ashley battersby or lindsay vonn. you bring kaya in to the mix and it is just being unfair and mean to her
 
i love ingrid too. also, just discovered maude raymond. she has a few videos on armada's site. great accent and she looks delicious
