Is anyone else OCD about their iTunes?

I find that whenever I download/rip songs, I NEED to have the correct album artwork and all of the correct info on the song. And honestly, it's pretty damn annoying, but I can't stop now.

Does anyone else do this?

Im not super bad about it, I usually don't have the time to rename tracks and shit. My homie however has like 100 gigs of music that is all perfectly organized. He even takes all the songs that don't have albums and makes up album names for them.

I definitely am, I hate having single tracks with no name or album. I keep my iTunes very organized

thats funny that i read this because i literally just spent 3 hours this morning (not the first time) finding artwork, delitiing duplicates, and fining the right album

i used to really badly, but then i started downloading so much that i couldnt really keep up with managing it. i just make sure it has the album and artist names and compilations are together.

Yes. Every single song is correctly named and album (and 'Unknown' for those that don't). Just do it whenever I add new tunes to the library.

wow i thought i was the only one that hated this i also hate titles that dont have proper spelling or capitalization and i HATE it when people listen to 30 seconds of a song then change it...wow so weak

i hate when i am listening to a friends ipod that is super un organized. i have to keep my itunes with at least artist and song correct. and i cant have "featuring" in the artist, it has to be in the song name.

Haha whenever an artist is featured on a song, I make sure it says "Lil Wayne - Red Magic (feat. The Game)" instead of "Lil Wayne feat. The Game - Red Magic" because that way it doesn't screw up my iPod.

Also, I need them all to say "feat." not "Ft." or "featuring" or "ft."

It blows.

yeah i keep on top of that shit. like i just downloaded a dozer/unida split and then for artist it was dozer/unida i cleared that up real quick

Haha, I do exactly the same.
And all songs with the correct artist, album.
I've even listened to every single song in my iTunes, and deleted all the ones I didn't like, but kept the albums intact of course. So I can claim that all the music in my iTunes is stuff I like, even the shit stuff.

im exact same way. it pisses me of when my sister shares her itunes and theres about 300 tracks with artist name left blank... grrr

I am totally anal about it. With 30 G of music and 20 G of video, it would be impossible to find anything that wasn't properly labeled and organized.

i got my new macbook pro and i was like first things first keeping my library organized

it worked for a month but now its back to a colonel cluster fuck

i dunno i never organize anything i just download everything into one folder n let windows media player sort it out, most of the time its spot on

i am so glad i am not the only one....like i hate it when i am looking through a friends ipod and they just guess the names and shit
you itunes says a lot about a person

Haha I'm the same way.

Like someone said above me I hate when you look at people's Ipods and they aren't organized. They'll have 6 different lil wanye's with all the featured artists included and all the songs spread out. It's aweful.

haha wow, i thought i was a rare breed being super super anal about my itunes. i'm 25 now and have even recently been thinking about going through all 60+ GB of music and filling in the correct year for each song/album, so i can be like 'man, punk rock from the late 90's was so much better than the shit they put out now. let's make a smart playlist'. i'm a winner.

all my artists and titles are perfect, but my albums and album art are messed.

it sucks cause all my music is from blogs so the artwork is just the website(blog), not the actual artist/album

i spent about an hour yesterday making sure all of my itunes had album artwork.the little grey music notes were pissing me off.
