First of all nowhere seems to be hiring and secondly no one wants to hire just for the summer. It sucks. Alsoif anyone knows of a job in the denver/Littleton area PLEASE let me know.
Are you actually surprised you cannot find a summer job, when people with masters cannot find a full time job, and millions are getting laid off? Millions of Americans are in the same boat as you. After months of hearing about so many people getting laid off, there is no reason to ask a stupid question like this. Yes, everyone is have trouble finding a job.
it's pretty much impossible right now, there's not a lot of openings and you'll probably be competing with people 2 or 3 times your age for a job. I can't really find anything, might have to resort to taking my clothes off for money.
But seriously, i'm maintenance crew at the local water park, and my superior said that there was so many people applying, even people that are like 30 years old.
Ya i tried to get my old job back at a movie theatre and my boss told me that my job had been taken by someone with a degree. Thats sad, a minimum wage job for someone who just graduated
if i didn't already have one, i'd probably be having a hard time right now. if you can't get a decent job in time for summer, try doing odd jobs for neighbours, or even babysitting. cash is cash, it doesn't really matter how you make it.
try retirement homes. government funded business so its likely to never go under and start laying people off. ive worked there for 3 months and we've hired 4 people since i got there. they hire literally anybody. I MEAN ANYBODY. my work is filled with gangbangers with all these piercings and tatoos and what not.
so try a retirement home or something similar your likely to find some luck
