Is a net on a trampoline like the helmet while skiing dilemma?

Just want some opinions on the necessity of a net on a trampoline

gunna throw in the word

ski depression summer so that i don't get railed for this being in ski gabber

Took mine off after I almost impaled myself on one of the poles. Still have yet to fall off. Even when I had it I never really came close to falling off.

I've had some close calls with landing wrong and flying off sideways and the net has caught me from probably breaking a bone or hurting myself

It's worth it OP

If your trampoline isn't in ground just go with the net. If you do a trick and you get caught up in the net then you messed up anyways.

Falling onto the side of the trampoline, then falling to the ground just sucks.

I'd say go with the net on this one, better safe than sorry and it's not like not having a net makes you look "cool" or anything

Nets have saved my ass a few times. Landed weird on dubs and just got launched back but if your tramp is in ground there is absolutely no point because if you get thrown back its better to fall on some grass or sand then get stopped and hit a metal frame.

never fallen off mine without a net on. I just dont like the feel a net gives you, Its make the tramp feel a lot smaller. and less space is used when your bouncing

False

Learning anything more than a frontflip or backflip i like having it, doing mistys and back fulls etc ive flown into the net a ton so i vouch for having one.

same. Except for one time when I shot out the opening flap and flew off my buddies retaining wall. That shit hurt like hell.

Way back in the day when I used to do trampoline maneuvers, I was doing lincolns on a friends netted tramp. Went too big one time, caught my feet on the outside of the net, and somehow landed on my feet in a crevice between the tramp and a chainlink fence. Lucky that it didn't really hurt, that said, I wouldn't recommend a net

this is so true. also for people who say it has saved their asses a lot, there are two things going on there, one, you take impact wrong if you are bouncing in all directions and two, having a net makes you less careful by nature and therefore you fuck up more,

i totally notice myself doing more stupid shit when tramps do have nets.

also if your tramp is half decent and you are getting bounced, you can go a good couple feet higher than the nets.
