Is a cork 7 impressive?

imagine yourself waiting at the top of the in run for a jump. you are getting yourself stoked up to try something new. Someone comes blasting past you and throws a cork 7.

just wanted to know what others think. ive been skiing park for around 10 years and can do a 7 but i still think its a hard trick and im impressed with anyone who can do it with ease. what do you guys think? maybe im just shit.

Yeah it’s impressive but it really depends on style. I don’t think it makes people wow that often but if you make it big and steezy then it can. In my opinion it’s 10% cork 7, 20% size, 70% style.

I’m always more impressed when someone busts a standard 360 with a super steezy nose grab or something compared to a hucked, flailing cork 7.

so to answer your question, it’s a style thing.

but if you’re throwing corks at all yea you’re rippin’

I always get stoked from a cork 7. Either someone does it super cleanly and it just has drip. Or it's someone who isn't as good but you gotta be stoked for them being at the point of learning corks

Depends on the feature that it's being done, but being from Hyland and being able to cork I personally don't think its very impressive. If you can cork on a tramp you can absolutely cork on skis, you just need the balls to do it. Anything over cork 7 is more impressive, 9's are a little scarier and dub 10's are very impressive to me.

For those of you who said no...

Let’s change the scenario a bit, if it was a natural feature, and the guy blasting past is on big ass pow ski. Would it make it impressive?

Super easy to forget that being able to cork at all puts you in the 99th percentile for skiing ability real quick.

There’s a lot of average skiers out there, so yea it impresses me no matter what
