Is a 96 benz c class a nice car?

The things you have to remove to get to the water pump almost make me laugh. It's easy once you figure out where the damn thing is, haha. I'm pretty sure the gearbox is also a common problem on mid/late 90's C-Class, but they're great cars to drive.
