What do you try it off? Park jumps or homemade jumps? (With powder)

Thanks!

Do it on the ground first, in your socks. Get your balance. Then try with ski boots, flat ground in the snow. Then move to skis, again flat. Get familiar with the body movements of coiling/uncoiling and keeping your balance in each successive stage. After that, try it on whatever, just make sure you know the speed of the jump, and you'll be alright after a few tries.

360 is one trick that i think you should do on a decent sized jump.. the more time you have the easier because it doesnt take well to being rushed.. generally makes you fall backseat. so id say a nice medium table top in the park youre used to is best

Yeah, a larger jump sounds best, it will just suck if I do like a 270 and smash my head on the ground.

The pro of landing in powder - a fall probably wont hurt. The con is that unless you land perfectly, you're going to fall. I would suggest trying it off a small spine or small jump so that if you land 270 you will still whip it around on your tails. Once you get comfortable with the basic rotation, take it to bigger jump for easier spinning. Like people said, dont look down and keep looking over your shoulder to keep spinning

The hardest part about learning to spin off a jump is clearing the take off in proper form. Everyone spins way too early and loses their shit before they even reach the lip. Find any garbage 360 on video and analyze the point of take off and you will see why.

You've never even skied and you're talking about 360s? My advice would be learn to ski first you goober

Commit or eat shit!...

Honestly it should be totally possible, find a jump you feel comfortable on, and just clinic the shit out of it till you get it down!

Landing your first 360 is an INCREDIBLE feeling!

Landed my first 360 just a few days ago, it's super fun and really easy. First, do 360's on the ground in your socks. Then, do them in your ski boots in the lodge. Then, do some flat 180's with your skis on out on some groomers. After that, make sure you have 180's on jumps dialed, and then just send it. Make sure to look up and over your shoulder, when I was first starting out I would chuck my head super sideways and look down and get off-axis. Also don't throw your head around super hard, just pop, spin, bring up your knees, and it will come around naturally. Good luck dude it's a great feeling when you land it!
