Is a 192mm ski to big for me?

Planning on buying a pair of Atomic Coax. I can get a really solid deal on them for a ski in great condition, although, they are 192cm...

I am 5'11 215lbs and ski aggressively. These skis would be my dedicated ski to take out west. I live in Michigan, and need a dedicated ski to take out west that can handle everything. Out west, these need to rock steep groomers, tight tree skiing, and steep open bowls. I wouldn't really be playing around with them much as in trick wise. 3s and 5s off of small drops but thats really it.

Is this the right length for me?

that sounds perfect for you. plus i think they are rockered/ have early rise, so they would ski a bit shorter. get them

Those are HUGE but they rip, The Atomics are about 3-4cm than anyother Ive seen in the same size. The Coax is a sweet ski though

I've spent a lot of time on the coax, and it rips, I was suprised that even in the trees the 192 is exactly what I wanted, the 80's size ski ju ust felt too short. Btw i'm 6'0" 200.

bump. thanks everyone for the help. i think i am going to purchase them. just want to get a little bit more input

I responded to your question in the Atomic thread. You'll love them, your weight will help you control them with ease

Buy them. I'm 5 inches taller but about 15 lbs lighter than you and live out west and my new everyday ski this season is a 194 el Dictator. You'll love the atomics

I ski a 189, i'm 5'7' and 135 lbs. I ski super agressive, they ski awesome for me.

i have mine mounted -3 back and it was perfect. I fucking loved them, oh and they were the 189 bluehouse mavens.

in the 190+ range i stick to a general rule, if you have to ask if it is to big, it probably is

Word. Thanks for all the help guys.

working on getting a pair of 186 Jeffreys, the 192 Atomics are my back up to that.
