Is 169 to big of a ski if im around 5' 6"

i need skis for this year and just found out that my skis last year were to shitty to use this year. so i found a pair of volkl ledges online that are 169, is that too big for me if im around 5' 6" and a half. is it worth it to go a bigger?
 
That size will be perfect as long as its not like your first year in the park, you want smaller if you want tricks to be easier to learn, Im 5'7 and on 171s for my pow skis....
 
fuck no its not too big. i started riding on 173's when i was 5'2, i wouldnt recommend that but at 5'6 you should be looking at low 170's i'd say.
 
you could probably go bigger honestly 174 would probably be where i would max out if i was your height
 
since ull probley center mount them it probly wont be to bad, but i like my 159s and im only 5'8...and there centermounted and i love.

For me i would look in to some thing shorter, but thats just my oppinon..
 
Yo mang, I'm 4'10" and I just got the 190 Level 1/Moment Bibby Pro cause' they're super dope looking and are perfect cause' bigger skis make you look cooler. Plus they're just super steezy and hyphy looking.

But seriously, you should be fine. Volkl measures small, so in reality it's about the same size as a 161 line ski or something comparable, you should size up if you want a true 169.
