is 153 too small

i'm 5'4 (maybe 5'3, i dont know) and my concepts are 153. they work well for me.... it depends on your weight too though

yeah, if you are heavy go for a longer ski. Think about where you will be skiing too. Short skis are easier to handle on the groomed stuff/park/trees, while long skis float better in powder.

A_Custom:

Someone who is 160cm does not need 169cm skis. 153 would not be too small.

153's are a great size for you. If you want to go with something bigger, I suggest that you demo it first. A 161 might work well too.

ya..but you have to keep in mind that you will grow...i don't know how old you are...but you might want something just a bit longer so that you will not have to be replacing your equipment right away. But on the other end of things you do not want to buy something that is gonna be too big to ski...ya maybe a 161 then. if you want I know someone who is selling some brand new(never ridden) 161 1080's with S810ti bindings

uh, i believe i had my line 1260 164 cm skis at that hieght. They are really flexy, and if you get a light binding (any salomon one) it will be a great ski for ya

I'm about the same size. I'm short as hell for my age. I'm 5'4 and I weigh about 110. I saw some LINE 153's on Ebay for about 100 bucks and I based on these responses I'm gonna pick em' up...I just want some skis I can throw around in the park. Sounds to me like they'll work aight...LATE.

I'll tell you where...someplace warm...a place where the beer flows like wine...where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of capastrano...I'm talkin' about a little place called Asssspennnnn...
