Iridum lenses

Right now I have ordinary, too small goggles and I was thinking about buying wisdoms with the iridum lenses. Last year I had asked them for Christmas but my I didn't get them cause the dealer said that they were bad for night skiing because having iridium lenses made everything appear darker. I do a lot of night skiing (well, evening).

Alot of my friends have them though, and they haven't complained about them. Was I fucked by the clerk? Is it even noticeable, or are they like any other goggles?

You were fucked by the clerk the iriduim's really don't effect you when it's dark it's like any other lens. I have the blue iridium's and I wnt night skiing twice in Utah and I used them and they were fine

u can ski with those lenses at night but it does suck compared to a clear lense. why dont u just get a clear lense to go with ur gogs? its like having to pairs of gogs. just change ur lense on the light conditions and ur set.

they r diff for everyone, but i have them myself, and night skiing with those lenses is crazy in my opinion, i would wear 'em on a real sunny day, until about 2-3, then go in and throw on my orange lensed a-frames, wisdoms suck!

what did the five fingers say to the face?

get two pairs of lenses, clear or orange, the orange are really good for fog.

Check out the trailer to Minor Threat. It features the best skiers from all over New York State (It's under the edits/shorts section or in Huckfest900's profile)

Chris: But I heard that in tanning booths you can get something called Melenoma

Peter: Don't worry son that's just fancy talk for sexified.

yea i have fire lenses, they are really dark but the other ones like blue and silver aren't really shaded. Silver Spy lenses are actually kinda yellow tinted.

ok, 1st, dont get wisdoms, aframes are all you'll ever need

2nd, i have black iridiums, and i love em, during the day, the work for most day conditions, i have fire lenses for really bright days

3rd- get some orange lenses, i ski 1/2 of my season at night, and the orange lenses are great for night, but iridium is a pain to use at night, and i've tried

hmm, I had the wisdoms with hi-intensity blue lenses and didn't really like them, mainly the fit of the wisdoms was bad for me.

Then I got some a frames w/ iridium fire lens and personally think they are fine for night and don't make that big of a difference.

high intensity blue for night or lowlight, if you cant afford that, just get a clear lense, and black, blue, or fire iridium for bright conditions and your set. if you cant afford two lenses get high intensity persimmon, its the regular orange persimmon lense with an iridium coating to cut glare
