i could honestly care less about anything the iraq people are doing or what is wrong with their country. Im sick of hearing about their POS country. They need to just get over the fact that their country sucks balls and do something by themselves for a change.

on a related note, did anyone see john mccain's comments about how safe iraq is and how he walked through the streets of baghdad feeling completely safe? the other senator he was with also described the scene as similar to a market in his home state, indiana. (WTF?????)

of course, he also was wearing kevlar, was surrounded by a legion of soliders, had snipers stationed on nearby buildings, and blocked off all access of where he was walking to strictly americans.

Your analogy only works if its the house of a criminal that is already in ashes apart from his living area and if there is a violent dispute between the members of that house. And now that you've removed the criminal, the bickering members of the house are preventing you from helping them rebuild it, and wasting your time and money.

Honestly, if I was in that situation, I'd say fuck it and leave. But good analogy though, I like it.
 
hmmmm, i agree to an extent. i meant though that the original house = original iraq government (pre-2003). the criminal would live in the house and would exert complete control over the other tenets. however, there would be minimal strife or dissent, as the consequences would be far worse than the effort put into them.

so let's compromise by saying that the first house is really an apartment or shack. haha

First of all, how can you have that opinion about such an important issue? And why I am worried is because your opinion will matter some day, if not now in the case u can vote or have common sense. Maybe I am being too positive, but to think that many people reach a conclusion without even being informed is pretty scary...

1.NOTHING is wrong with Iraq, at least nothing worse than with the US.

2. Don't be sick of hearing about Iraq, because as things are going u will have a lot to hear from them...

3. It's pretty hard to do something by themselves when the past century western countries have been manipulating middle eastern affairs for their benefit. If you got informed just a bit more, you would know that what u see today is a result of manipulation, failure of diplomacy and economic interests denied, amongst many other things. This causes have been forging since the war in the end of the 1970's, with Iran I think, if not before that.

My point is, please do care..
 
The situation is SO far beyond what you can comprehend. It is the most diffucult political, religious and moral goings-on, it is so diffucult to formalize a plan that won't destroy thousands of lives. Pulling out, were fucked. Continuing with the war, were fucked. I've given it much thought and research and the middle east is so far beyond my intelect that i'll stop tlaking.

Haha I can't say I would completely agree that we put them in that situation. They have a phenomanal divide between lower class and upper class and thats why alot of their country is poor while the oil execs have 100 room mansions. Also I'd say the division in religion causes alot of violence and having a corrupt gov't couldn't help matters either. But I definantly would say we have only made matters worse by being there since 03.

I don't think it'd be extremely difficult for a terrorist to get into America, nice try dumbass. And we have NO idea what Terrorists are capable of, did we expect them to hijack planes and fly them into the towers? They could do anything! They could have a semi full of explosives drive over the Hoover dam and flood miles and miles of the U.S., they can drive cars with explosives into the Capital, they could do anything. And yes, Terrorism will never end, but we are trying to nip it at the root instead of stand back and watch the middle east get even more devoured in violence. It may seem more violent at the moment but in 100 years Iraq will *hopefully* be a more civilized country. I say hopefully only because I have no idea what events will take place in the future and nobody can be certain what path that country will take.

I dont feel sorry for a single person over there. Yes, I was born into America, they were born into Iraq. Can I or anyone change that? No. Does every single person born have the opportunity to either get the fuck out or stay there? Yes. Will it probably take Alot of work to get out of that dangerous situation, especially if you are poor? Yes.

So, if someone is born and is alive, does that mean that they deserve to have everything handed to them? FUCK NO.

WE forced them into war with Iran? Iraq attacked Iran because Iraq wanted regional dominance and he saw Iran as its major competitor. Iran at the time was going through civil war so Saddam saw it fit to attack Iran. So I'd like to know how we forced Saddam to attack Iran.

If you truly feel that this 'war' is legit and we really need to help these poor people who were born into poverty than sign up for the army now and put your own live in danger over it. Seriously, if you dont sign up right now, than you are just making excuses and being a total hypocrite.

Since you feel so strongly about it and claim to know ohhh so much about Iraq, hell why dont you just move over there and start enlighting them in the ways of your extreme knowledge about exactly what is happening some 3000 miles away from you.
