Ipod's battery

If you treat the battery badly, then yes, the battery can die quickly. However, Apple now offers a replacement service for $99 us. They will even replace your whole iPod. Assuming that you don't want to go through Apple, a quick search on google reveals at least five different sites selling replacement batteries for as little as $49 that one can install him or herself. Even paying $99 every 1.5 years is

that dosent really happen, iPods batterys are fine. I have had my first gen. iPod for more than 2 yrs and it is fine, still gets me thru those long car rides out west

 
yeah, i watched a video on how to replace the battery also, it's so so easy...and i found a site that sells one for like 49.95 i think...so yea i'm not worried, when/if mine dies i'll just replace it myself

the weakest part of ipods is the headphone jack. That shit comes loose sooo easy, I've had mine replaced 3 times in a year and now it is happening again.

 
ive had a new ipod for 8 mths & the battery is screwed.......take good care of it also, lucky its still in warranty
