Ipods are soooo gaaaaay

you serious? have you owned one? with the new firmware? i got one and i love it. so much better than ipod I have had in the past. and my friend just got a new nano and it broke like 3 days in though. just wouldnt turn on or connect when it plugged in. luckily thoug because I have had so many issues with ipods previously i was able to tell him how to reset it.

ive had my ipod for a year and a hlaf and i ahvent bought any acceseroies

i made my own case out of ducttape and paper towel and taht seems to work pretty well

so far my ipod hasnt broken or malfuntioned although it froze once

i like ipods

haha i'd agree with you, then i realized my ipod touch has a functional voip phone on it. yep apple owns noobs.

I dont have a mac, so I dont need an ipod. most of the other olayers sync up nicely with WMP, which in my opinion, is better than itunes. at least on a pc. even itunes on a mac isn't that great

why? if you actually use it, its much more logical. that, and it is a one stop media player. it'll also do videos and photos without opening an external app

I had my 4th generation for over 2 years and the only reason it broke was that i dropped in it in the sink. My new video is about a year old with a 4 year warranty so i expect to have it for a while. Ipods dont suck, you just need to understand that all electronics arent supposed to last more thana couple years. Same thing goes for computers and car shit. Everything needs to be replaced at some point.

the ipod touch has glass over the screen to protect it. The glass cracked on mine but the screen is fine. I called up apple and they said that they dont replace the glass, they only replace the whole screen, it would cost me 350 dollars to get it fixed. thats as much money as i payed for it, i didnt pay 350 dollars for a fucking screen.

Yeah, they're designed to break. Shitty-ass product, hate those things. I don't know how the new Dell Djs are but I remember the old ones were fucking tanks, I treated mine like shit and it lasted three years as opposed to my iPod which lasted one despite the most painstaking care I've ever given a product.

Yeah, I decided against ipod and went with the Creative Zen 16gb instead. I feel like the Zen has a big screen that displays colors really well. Sound is great, and I like that it's a flash-based player as opposed to hard drive.

wow im gonna say thats no fault tp the iPod if its happened 3 times, have you tried updating your computer and the versions of iTunes? Im surprised Nomenstevens hasn't put his two cents in here yet. Idk bout the other ones but 55 dollars for a shuffle, that looks pretty sick sounds good to me. You can easily sync music from diff comps onto it, and you can copy ur library. Apple is releasing SDK soon which will make the touch more like a PDA. Go play around with a jailbroken touch and tell me they suck.

AGREE. for the longest time mine would not eject itself from my computer. i tried everything, including customer service. eventually i figured out it was the stupid ass thing checking for updates constantly and possibly the photo sync. mine doesnt turn off half the time either. the most annoying problem of all is how it stops half way through a song and skips to the next one sometimes. i have also had my ipod reboot while i was listening to it, and then after its reboot all my songs were gone.

apple sucks ass, i don't think i'll be buying another one of their overpriced products.

i don't know about you JD, but whenever i leach music from DP's computer, well, no strings attached. i've never had to delete all my music. do you have to reformat your ipod from mac to pc or vice versa every time?

iPhones are fucking dope though. Got my NES SNES PSX GBA tunes gps videos internet plus way more, and I can remote control my comp with my computer rofl~

I've had my 60gb video for about 3 years now and I've never had one problem with it. I've dropped it on cement, left it in -35 weather, and it still runs just as good as the day I bought it.

ive had my video ipod since it came out which is at least 2 years. and whats the point in spending the money on a case to keep it from getting scratches when the rubber cases prevent you from even seeing the actual ipod. and i think the click wheel is the best system out of all the mp3 players.
