Ipods are DOPE.....

my ipod will not ever turn off. sometimes if i am lucky it will. butlike i press the play button and hold it and it just doent turn off. so i have to make a song end so it will go to the main menu and eventually turn off.

bitch

i broke the screen on my nano. it would have been funny to watch how i acted. i was calm broke it in a corner and then was calm. luckily i had 300+ bucks to buy and 80gig

the shuffle is so perfect for skiing. it has a super long battery life, is very tough to impacts and the cold, and you just have to press play and pause instead of dealing with the click wheel

why didn't I think of this...

anyway, my ipod (4th gen. B&W) worked for hmmm... I guess nearly two years, not bad, and now it's having tons of problems. Whenever I ski with it mine also freezes or randomly skips backwards a few songs. Then the HD died so I opened the fucker up and replaced it. Now the battery is getting messed up and I need to buy a new one and replace that. Out of warranty for quite some time now. not having my music with me is annoying as hell. going back to an old old cd player is so odd. I hate changing cd's and not knowing the song name and all that other stuff. :(

very true.

Although I kinda dont like the shuffle because mine is the old 512 mb one, and I want more songs, and I hate clicking through the songs and not being able to see what Im playing, they really are great.

I've had my old shuffle for over 2 years. It's been through everything(without the cap on the usb part cause I lost both of them), so water, sweat, dropping it. It's really durable and has a great battery life. It's really good for skiing sometimes. And the 1 gb ones are only like $80 now.

Im getting a 4 gb nano though soon.

if you guys hate ipods so much whyd you buy one, and sure sometimes it doesnt work, but what does work all the time, absolutely nothing so why bitch just fix it and go on

i'm not bitching. mine held up for longer than expected and i'm happy with how it worked. i'm sad to see it broken. i want to buy a new one but rumor has it apple is releasing a new ipod and there may be a new zune by the end of the year and i'd hate to buy it then have to pay more to get a new one. so my summer will be spent ipodless, which really sucks. my phone holds 2 gig, but my music collection fills my 20 gig ipod.

my ipod rocks, never gives me trouble, and with your battery in the cold....dude. thats what lithium ion batteries do! your cell phone or PDA would do the same thing

well battery in the cold is normal... is it a video, cause my firned one and it sucked major ass cookies in the cold so he returned it.

everybody says they have problems with their ipods but ive had my ipod photo for 2 years i use it when i ski and lots of other shit, and not once has it broken down/froze/any other crap

maybe im just a lucky bastard

what! thats lucky, I hear hiking the lift lines during the summer is a great way of finding loot. I'd love to do that too since I do enjoy hiking/backpacking but I have no way of getting up there or anyone to go with. mt biking would be cool to, and faster to get around with.

you just need to find yourself one of the old ipods and do a battery change. They work great and are built like tanks

same. i have the zen vision m. it's a ton better than the ipod video. more features, better display, customizable, and it is jsut a little thicker (not a big deal).
