Ipods(30gb photo)

Does anyone have a new ipod photo 30gb? Are they worth the $350? im thinking of buying one but not sure if its worth it. If you buy it in USA and take it out of the country for someone else is there a tax?

 
No tax if they don't find out about it. Also, go to apple.com and click on education. They offer a 10% student discount if you are a student. I got my 20 gig for $30 off. I think that it is worth it, although I am having trouble filling mine. Right now I have almost 2,800 songs and it is just a little over half full.

I have 40gig regular that has about 24gig on it and I love mine. One of my friends has the 30gig photo, and I must admit, it's really cool. The color screen is very nice and the battery life is three hours longer. I wish I would have waited and bought the 60gig photo.

Yeah I have a 30gb photo and it's sick. Got it with the educational discount, so it was only 320. So many advantages over the regular ipod. 10gb bigger hd, color screen, for 50 dollars more.

This burrito is delish, but it is filling
 
I have an iRiver H340 and I love it and would never use an iPod instead. Do the research yourself.

 
I'm thinking about getting a mini, but i need to save up the money first

the photo 30gb looks sick, i just don't think i could get that many songs

The iriver with teh color screen looks pretty pimp becuase i think that you can watch movies on it? But i would go wtih apple just becuase their shit is so sweet and get hte photo ipod.

i got a brand new 15gb dell for sending in a broken ipod(found at the local hill after the snow melted, wouldn't even show anything when i used a friend's charger......) for $100. so I'm happy.

It works well for me, and i saved like $150 over an ipod.

if i was to be getting a new one now, however, it you be one of the photo ipods, so i could dump pictures off my CF memory cards and not worry about running out of space while out shooting pictures.

Yeah, you can watch videos on the iRiver H300 series. No drivers/software necessary and the Euro model works as a USB host to transfer photos/music to directly. You can hack the US version to do it too.

 
Ipods are more trendy.

if i had a choice again i would get the creative zen touch just because the battery life is 24hours....the ipods 8 hour battery (which i dont even get 6 anymore) is pissing me off.

and your so right about battery power if i even have the bascklight on i can see the battery bar go down i get like an hour with the back light on wtf
