so I was at a local spring railjam in the Midwest. I was skiing down a run and happen to see a glint of

something in this snow stream. I hike up like 5 feet to find an 80g ipod. I was soo excited and raced down

the hill to show my bud. He looks at it and then I decide to turn it in. they said if nobody claims it by 5:00

the next day i could keep it.So i check on it every once in a while then call at 5:00 and this girl says that I

can't have it.My bro rips on her and 5 minutes later she calls back and says somebody claims it.WTF?

NS what shuld i do?

It sounds like she got an "employee perk". By doing what was right, you helped her effectively steal. It sucks, but that's how it goes. You did what was right, and that's all that matters in the end. Last year I found a pair of brand new very expensive Oakley sunglasses and turned them in. Same deal, if no one claimed them by 5:00, they were mine. I checked at 5:00, and supposedly someone claimed them. I hope someone truly did, but I know I did the right thing regardless. Take solace in the fact that you did what was right. What comes around goes around. You now have some positive karma on your side. This thread is a great change from all the wannabe gangsters stealing iPods and other stuff.

that happened to me with 20 bucks when i was little at a hockey rink. i found it before a game and they said if nobody claimed it they'd give it to me, and the fat guy behind the counter took it and went to the snackbar, no joke
