IPOD VS ZUNE

i was planning on geting an zune insted of an ipod. altho when i went to look at one it looked bulky. what do you think
 
^word son, creatives are where it is at. and im guessing zune will proabably have some kinks at least enitially.
 
Deffinitly not the first. They are just a fashion statement. I only have one because it was $50 and its a 3rd gen.
 
ipods are definately the best if you take care of them, plus they have a lot of sick acccessories that are ipod specific. and accesories sounds gay, i mean like cool shit.
 
Never considered that. Usually I'm pretty good with that sorta thing but we'll never really know now will we?
 
I have a creative zen micro and here's what I have to say:

The program that comes with it is shit, hell it doesn't work so I use windows media player.

The touchpad is shit, mine has a big deadzone in the middle so when you're trying to scroll it will start playing a random song.

The battery lasts maybe 7 hours.

I would personally get an Ipod because everyone has one and they're easy to use, but Itunes is still gay.

 
I like my I pod but have never used anything else. It's held up fine but i tunes sometimes get messed up. Anyone know how to get some thin scratches your your ipod screen?
 
one of the best things about ipods is that they use itunes i would probabaly consider getting somthing else if they used itunes
 
All of my friends are finally starting to realize that Ipods suck because they're getting to that 1 yr mark when all the ipods just start to fall apart. I've had a creative zen touch for like 2yrs now it wokrs perfect still.
 
i have the old school ipod. the biggy 15GB and i've had it for 3 years and works completly fine, and it's had alot of shit done to it.. so i don't agree with that. ipods are built tough.
 
no im going to say that theyre apple pieces of shit. you NEED itunes to load your music whereas any other not apple mp3 player you can just drag and drop by opening it from the explorer. so easy. also ipod videos have been known to break down in about a year.

also to put a video on an ipod, you have to convert it to a file playable by macs. this can be very lengthy. for any pc based mp3 player, drag and drop the video and your on your way because the format is already supported.

i could rant on and on about why ipods suck but dinner is ready and im hungry
 
I LOVE comments like this. Please back up your statements with some sort of reason and not "becuase they're cool". Put some thought into your posts.
 
the zunes main point is to transfer songs to your freinds. well for now the main purpose of it cant be used. about one in every 1000 people has one...
 
anyone could make a better MP3 player than apple if they used an ounce of thought and didnt use the same basic ipod design.

i could design a more relevant player.
 
its not like they are just gonna let you keep the songs, that would pretty much be like corporate suicide for the music industry.
 
Creative Labs zen vision m....I'd say that is the best movie/music/photo player out there. i got on this summer, and it is unbelievable.
 
ive had 3 samsung mp3s and they are good quality and dont fuck up alot i have that one with te fold out speakers right now its sick. try getting something with a hard drive because that just means moving parts which=breakage easily so dont get an ipod. i hear the zens are pretty good except that 1 post where theres that dead spot.
 
ipod shuffles are where its at they will never break....mine sat in puddle of water overnight and it still works money
