ipods are better because everything that is dell is sure to fuck up. and im sure that the batteries in the dells with fuck up in 18 months and 1 day, its a lithium battery dell has to use one too and its not like their is magicly going to last for ever.

ipods wear out and die?...this is news to me, please fill me in...they're damn expensive to have one crap out on you in a year and a half...what's the deal?

as for the question...i'd get an ipod over dell...apple is a rad company in itself and their product is solid...i've heard far fewer horror stories about apple than i have about dell...i just got my dell laptop back cuz the keyboard died on me so my experience with dell as of late gives my opinion a bias......in summary, ipod over dell, prolly a better product and worth the investment...but i really don't know anything about the battery issue...someone elaborate a bit on that...peace

 
I was watching tech tv and they said the Ipod was better and the dell had to many buttons.....or maybe that was gateway but the IPod was rated better than all of them.

dell... they hold more than the, ipod they will have better customer service, and they cost a whole bunch less. what more do you want... the ipods are better known and more trendy.

 
yeah deff go for the dell, there cheaper and have better battery life than i pods, and no they wont die on you, atleast not before the i pod battery dies.
