Ipod touch wi-fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii problems

yeah i dont really know, i wouldve gone yahoo answers but it would take like a week for a good answer.

anyways the wifi bars show up and ive entered the password and such, it shows the little checkmark there, but still doesnt work. know how to fix this anyone?

do you have the 3G software on it? ever since i updated mine the wifi connection just isn't as good as it used to be, it sucks

yeah, its 3rd generation and everything, all the software and stuff works perfect, except wifi

maybe its just the software, not the ipod, cause my wifi always loses it's connection and shit. its annoying

first of all, who has a network called afafafafaf? whatever...

mine does this sometimes. i just turn it off (completely, like hold the power button for 4 seconds) and then turn it back on.

if that doesn't work then maybe its your wireless router? mine sometimes has problems. test the connection out with a computer to make sure its working.

that's all i got, pretty basic i guess but worth a try

1) Turn off wifi. wait 3 min. then turn the Wifi back on. log in to wifi again. Might work.2) Turn off wifi. restart ipod. then log back in to wifi you were using. Might work.Both worked for me but not all of the time. +k

reset network connection and retype password for it. sometimes the wifi says its good only you have typed the wrong pw

My ipod only worked with a certain type of encryption. You can change that usually by going to 192.168.1.1
