Ipod touch shit

im trying to connect my ipod touch to my comp but its not registering as connecting. why ? : (

Couple things.

The port your using is donefor. Try another slot.

The ipod is faulty, prolly not true.

The software isn't installed correctly.

Your drivers are out of date.

Reinstall iTunes if its still fucked. Send me a pm if you need help with anything.

I have the same problem with my Ipod chromatic, windows dosnt recognise it and its not the usb ports or the computer, or itunes.... I have tested all of those problems. Im going to the apple store in montreal to kick some ass soon and get a new one. Im going to ask for the earlier version of the ipod because I dont think having a hard drive in an mp3 is the smartest thing ( durability wise)

older usb ports don't supply enough juice. you might need to buy a pci usb card.

you need a usb2 port or a powered usb1 I think.

If you are using a USB splitter you need one with a power supply.
