Ipod touch screen not working

so long story short i went in and tried to fix the headphone jack my taking off the screen and what not and then when i went to put it back on and tried to slide to unlock it dident slide, like the screen doesnt react to the touch at all. anyone know how to fix this?

take the screen off and plug the digitizer back in, happened to my iphone like 2 weeks ago, just go through and make sure all the cable to take out to remove the screen are plugged back in.

ding ding ding. you have three plugs that connect the screen and digitizer to the the main board on the phone. chances are, the digitizer has become unplugged. remove the bottom screws, stick a suction cup on the screen and pull it up. make sure that all three plugs are secured. test the screen to confirm it is now working. reattach the screws and you're set.
