This week in Stanton, Delaware, a 12-yo girl was confronted by a man driving a white van. He told her to get in. She held up her iPod Touch and said she'd dialed 911. That may have saved her life.The girl was accosted in the late afternoon this Wednesday by a suspect who's described as a white male, 35-45 years of age, dark hair, crew cut. And her quick thinking caused him to flee the scene immediately.Thank goodness she thought of that in time. And—as Cult of Mac points out—what a ringing endorsement for iPod Touch VoIP apps. K, so yesterday, I was driving my van around, and I saw this girl who looked like a homeless hooker on the corner, and I thought I'd help out by giving her a ride, cuz public transportation sucks right?
Well that hooker pulled out a goddamn Iphone/touch out of her pussy and called 911. Fuck that. I was just trying to help her and she calls the cops. Fucking kids these days.

this, i see 4th graders with droids and iphones some times, thats outrageous. I got a cell phone in 8th grade because I went out of the state for ski racing and needed a way to call home, and thats the only reason. kids that young do not need expensive electronics.
 
The guy was obviously and amateur. What kind of noob can't tell the difference between an iphone and an itouch? I have never owned one and I can tell the difference. I mean its great the girl got away, but lets be honest she got really lucky. If said kidnapper wasn't a total retard it would have been a different story.
 
why is everyone so surprised to hear that young kids have expensive electronics? I see the little douchebags all the time: nice hoody, jeans, jacket, cell phone, j.beebz haircut, listening to their ipod and walking around with their moms. I want to know the factory where they make the cookie cutters for these things and set it on fire. I think they make a version with a faux-hawk but it doesn't seem as popular

I dunno how it's done. only cookies should be made from cookie cutters not people IMO!but I do want the ipod and hoodie factories in china to keep churning out ipods and hoodies because I like my ipods and hoodies.good luck figuring this post out!
