Ipod touch "other" content

so i have a 32gb and its full so i was going to erase some music i dont listen to but then i noticed that i have 3.4gb of "other" content aside from music, pics,vids,and apps. what is it and how can i get rid of it?

Other is the following

1) The iPod database file (essential non-removeable)

2) The iPod artwork database (essential non-removable)

3) Calenders (remove by not syncing)

4) Address book (remove by not syncing)

5) Notes (remove from the iPod in disk mode by doing to the hard disk)

6) Any extra files you add to the iPods disk via explorer (remove via the explorer in the way you remove anything from an external

7) Basic iPod operating system files (essential non-removable)

This is best taken care of by restoring and resyncing.
 
i have 70 some gb of music. its not in the other. i just looked.i just deleted all my apps and favorites and bookmarks as well as email ill see if that helps
 
sometimes its all album artwork and song lyrics, if you have those on your songs. get rid of that and restore the ipod, should be good.
