IPod touch + Nike sensor

hey guy, i just bought a new pair of shoe with the nike shoe sensor, and fuck... i tried it about 5 times and my ipod doesn't look the get any signal from the sensor. my question is : do anyone have the combo, ipod touch 2nd gen + nike shoes sensor, and what he do to make it work.... plz no hate
 
i just recently started running again and was looking into this. ive already got the ipod touch, so before i buy the shoes i guess any information i can get here would be awesome. bump
 
Maybe your missing an update or something. try it on someones elses ipod if it doesnt work then it might be the shoes
 
i have it and it works fine. do you get to where it tells you to walk around? theats when it syncs. its really cool being able to track how far and fast you ran.
 
I never had to read the directions before this, Cause you have to check what software you have on it, and did you sync it
 
For the people that got it to work, are you using an ipod touch? When it first came out i know it only worked with the nano because that is the only ipod that is "made for running" ie can withstand the constant boucing.
 
yeah i use it with the iPod touch 2nd gen, with all the newest version, itunes 9, uploaded 3.1.1 version on itouch, everything is well. i get stuck at the sync thing, when i have to walk around to he can connect... and it's like he's not going on it... it,s pretty weird, i,ve tried running, fast walking, tried to keep the itouch as close as possible and... nothing plz help? what you mean about sync'ing it?
