Ipod touch help

my ipod touch wont sync or show up on my computer. the noise thing happens when i plug it in but nothing else. i did everything on the apple site to fix it and it wont work. someone help. +k for help

its something to do with the apple mobile software. i had this problem on my home computer and never could figure it out, but you have to turn it on in control panel i think.

might have to reset it or something, but as i said i never got mine working at home.

try rebooting the computer while keeping the ipod plugged in, it has worked for me multiple times.

make a time machine. go back in time and stop yourself from buying an ipod. Or better yet go back in time even further and kill steve jobs

same thing used to happen to me all the time, if its a laptop here are the instructions:

1) Turn it off and unplug it from the power source

2) take the battery out

3) press and hold the power button down for 5 long seconds

4) insert battery

5) turn computer on

6) see if it works, if not repeat process one more time

OMG. cause their aren't any other touch phones out there, that can do way more than an iphone and have free apps or anything......

oh alright, have you called the helpline yet, thats what i did and they solved my problem

make sure you have the most recent itunes, download it if you dont, it happened to me a few weeks ago
