alright so i just got a ipod touch to day and i need some help i downloaded movies off bittorrent have some previously download movies and they are in .avi format and that the wrong format so how and where can i convert it to the proper format

and also i have some pictures id like to add but are in .JPG and need to be in .JPEG so how do i fix that
 
pc or mac?
for a mac use isquint to transfer the movies and as for the pics just upload them to iphoto and then sync which ever albums you want
 
i use a mac and where do i download a converter and i use iphoto and just realize that my photos are .JPEG but it still says my ipod will not copy it
